Going to SXSW? There's an App for That!

by John VuSXSW Interactive starts today and with so many events and so little time, you'll need to plan out your schedule as efficiently as possible.To maximize your experience at SXSW, make sure to download the SXSW GO - Official 2014 app. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and will help you navigate through one of the best festivals of the year!

When you download the app, you will be introduced to a well organized and easily scrollable interface. At the top left hand corner is a drop down menu with different tabs to help you spend less time planning and more time enjoying SXSW.

Use the “Discover” tab to help you find different new and interesting events. Use the “Lineup” tab if you are trying to find key events or searching for a specific event type.

The “Schedule” tab allows you to easily add and organize events that you favorite. Afraid of getting lost? Don’t worry, the “Locations” tab will help you navigate to your destination via GPS.Also, included inside the app is access to the SXSocial network which allows you to easily connect with other registrants. You can even connect with your Facebook friends and share your schedule. When posting to social media, don’t forget to use SXSW official hashtags (#SXSW, #SXSWmusic, #SXSWInterative #SXSWfm).Lastly, make sure to relax, make new friends and enjoy one of the most exciting events of the year!
