Trillerfest: A Cultural Phenomenon
What do you get when you bring 120 of the top hip hop, rap and EDM artists together to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts?A lot of eyeballs!Triller is celebrating the success of Trillerfest, the most successful online music festival of all time.The three-day benefit, April 10–12, 2020, had more than five million viewers tuning in from across the globe through multiple platforms including YouTube, Twitch and Caffeine, among others.Hosted by multi-talented actor and comedian Jay Pharoah, Trillerfest featured an all-star musical lineup including Migos, Marshmello, Pitbull, Wyclef Jean, Snoop Dogg, Ally Brooke, King Combs, and more. You can watch the Trillerfest weekend recap here:During the festival, viewers were encouraged to donate to COVID-19 relief efforts from MusiCares and No Kid Hungry.The results of the festival exceeded expectations showing the power of music in these difficult times and how it can bring people together to do good in the world.Triller Executive Chairman Bobby Sarnevesht says this is only the beginning for the Triller:“We are here to make a difference in the music industry and as part of the music industry to the world. Trillerfest not only joined 120 artists and five million people globally, all proceeds went to help those most affected by COVID-19.
